5e Wizards Arcane Ward in FGU

Another noob question (I seem to have a lot of those...) I have a player with a 2nd lvl wizard. We are playing LMoP. He wants to use the School of Abjuration's Arcane Ward. He's tried to apply it but is unable and asked me (the DM) to help him. I've tried to incorporate it into his character sheet but haven't figured it out. I've done some web searches and found no help with regards to Unity. For those of you that have much more experience and knowledge then me, how do you incorporate this into a players FGU character sheet?
