I am a new user to Fantasy Grounds and am adding a custom class (home brew) and am having issues with the Ability Score Improvement at 4, 8, 12, 16, and 19 in the Character Wizard when leveling up. I've added the feature to the class at each level indicated and it pops up to request the input on the feat tab for each level but it is not actually modifying the ability scores.

Feature Name: Ability Score Improvement
Description: When you reach 4th level, and again at 8th, 12th, 16th, and 19th level, you can increase one ability score of your choice by 2, or you can increase two ability scores of your choice by 1. As normal, you can't increase an ability score above 20 using this feature.

Am I doing something wrong or do I need to link something somewhere? I copied the name and description from the Wizard class so I know the feature works. Thank you.

Welcome to FG.

I'm not sure what the issue is. When the players reach the appropriate levels they just change whichever scores they want or choose a feat. The modification is a manual process - there's no automation if that is what you were looking for.

Thank you for your reply Zacchaeus.

I am concerned that I am not clearly expressing what I'm talking about. When you click on the class & level and then LVL UP and enter into the Character Wizard at the appropriate levels on the Feat tab there is the option to select a feat or increase your ability scores. Using Ability Score Increase will increase one score by +2 or two scores by +1. I've tested this with the Wizard Class and Sorcerer Class to confirm that the automation is there so I know the Character Wizard has the logic built in. Is this something where homebrew classes are not yet supported or have I missed building a link somewhere to make the functionality actually work?

Ah, ok. I didn't know that was automated in the Character Wizard. I haven't used it that much. I'm guessing that it just isn't implemented for homebrew stuff but you'll get a better answer posting here. https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?60435-5E-Character-Wizard-Bug-Reports-(2020)

No problem and thanks for the direction. I've posted in that thread asking about it. Greatly appreciate the direction.
