No idea if this is intentional, or new, or otherwise, but when using the Official D&D theme it appears that there are two X's displayed in the top right of the frame instead of one. I imagine perhaps one is baked into the art and the other is an over-layed button which is slightly offset... or perhaps both the button up and down states both being shown and not lined up? Not sure. Image below.
This is on the 4.1.0 patch, in the 5E ruleset, using the Official D&D Theme, though it may carry over to others I haven't checked.
