While getting ready for a game this weekend I was testing out all the players effects to make sure they were all working correctly when I noticed that Initiative effect modifiers were not working other than flat numbers. This is FGU with 5E ruleset.

Dex of 18 (+4)
Cha of 15 (+2)
Rakish Audacity; INIT:[CHA]

Initiative roll in chat only shows +4

Changed to text with INT (Int score mod of -1)
INIT:[INT]
Chat still showing only +4

Changed to static modifier
INIT: 2
Chat shows +6

I log out of current campaign and load a fresh one with zero mods or extensions. Same results.

Any idea?

The replacement is done when an effect is applied from a PC actions tab. It isn't replaced once in the combat tracker. So you'll need to setup an effect on the actions tab with INIT: [CHA] and then apply that effect to the combat tracker - the [CHA] will be replaced with the relevant number.

"When applying effects from the Actions tab of the PC sheet..." is mentioned in the 5E effects Wiki page here: https://fantasygroundsunity.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FGCP/pages/996642031/5E+Effects+for+Advanced+Automation#PC-Specific-Notes

Thanks! That's how I have it set up, but was making some adjustments from the effects line in the combat tracker to test stuff. It was working before I started messing with it in combat tracker and didn't notice, lol.
