Hello dears,

Seems I'm not the only one seeing this (Kelrugem was able to repro) I am reporting what I believe is a bug with FGU.

This is in LIVE but Kelrugem tested it in TEST as well and behaviour is consistent.

Problem statement:

When creating occluders that have 'control points', the control point is sometimes OUTSIDE of the occluder (and can be far away from it) making it impossible to interact with it since when you leave the occluded zone, the control disappears.

Expected behaviour:

Occluder control stays within the borders of the occluded zone so that they can be interacted with.


Repro steps: create an occluder that's 'concave' in shape. It seems like FGU tried to put the control in the 'center' of the occluder and actually puts it outside of the occlude zone.

As an addition: If one puts the map to the background or restarts FGU, then it is in the area again; so, there seems to be a fix for this, but it is applied "too late" :D

Can you provide a simple sample campaign with a map showing this issue? I just want to make sure I have something concrete to pass to @cpinder.

I've attached some sample campaign with an erroneous pit button on the image Deekin :)

However, if you load the campaign, the button might be already at a better position because it fixes its position after a restart of the campaign or if the image got once pushed into the background etc. :) So, you'd need to make a similar pit shape as in my example there, then immediately go to play mode and hover over this new pit :)
