Max Damage

Hi, I am 100% sure this has been asked before or on a wiki and I cannot find it.
How can you set a weapon to do max damage on a hit? looking for IFT: TYPE(plant); DMG:8+STR. The weapon's maxed damage is 1d8.

Ruleset?

Not sure you can do it with an effect since those are additive. But, I would just make a second damage line on the weapon of 8+STR and then chose the right damage line to roll/apply as needed.

5e. This is a battleaxe that does max damage against any plant type.

There is not an effect that forces max damage, but you can click the Max button in the Modifiers window (Its the small button in the top right, looks like a +/-). That will do max damage on the next roll

If you want convenient access to it, I made an extension that adds those buttons to the modifier buttons already on the desktop. its available on DMsGuild as Pay What you Want, so you can pick it up for free if you like. There are two versions with slightly different positioning. Here is the link.

Hi @Mattekure.
I downloaded version B of your extension, but it doesnt show up in the list when launching a campaign. Do I need to have both in the extensions folder or is there something else I am missing?
