This is still an issue with both the Core and Mutants and Masterminds rulesets for Unity. Is this going to get a fix? When we play solely in text it makes it hard to maintain a good game flow.

You should almost always post any reports of issues in a new thread. Given that the thread you originally posted in is almost a year old and for FG Classic, it is almost 100% likely it's a completely different issue.

Where are you looking for the missing speech icon? On the character portrait? On the chat window in the upper right? Or elsewhere?

I see speech icons on both the PC sheet and NPC sheet for Mutants and Masterminds

I guess I tried to not add more threads and my mistake because I think its being misunderstood.

The speech bubble that appears on the characters portrait when theyre typing. Sometimes doesnt show, sometimes when it shows it lingers well after they've been typing so it leaves others to think theyre still typing. Again, apologies about necro'ng a dead thread

Thanks for reporting. I found an issue where the typing idle state timer was not firing correctly; so I'll include that in next beta test build (v4.1) for release when that version goes Live.

Can you also look at player view and GM view? It shows a bubble more often than not when a player is typing when I look at the gm view, but if I look at the same time at the player view on another screen there is no bubble being shown on the player side. Thanks Moon for the response and looking into the issue.

I just pushed a build for the beta version that should address. It will be available in Live version once the beta completes.
