Connection issue

Have you entered your forums user name, password, done a Log In and Save from the FGU settings window?

Can you attach your network.log and console.log files?

@Jadehorses8 - Welcome to the FG forums. Sorry you're having issues. It can't be the same as the thread you posted in, as that is FG Classic which uses different connectivity than FG Unity.

Please can you explain what problems you're having?

In Unity it sits on "attempting resolved connection to server" screen46068
It never resolves or even gets to a screen to enter the password. I have verified with the DM that he is sitting on the other side waiting for me. Tried also on my wife's Mac with the same exact result. I remember years ago having a similar issue with the original fantasy grounds but I was able to get it to resolve and I cannot for the life of me remember what it was.

When figuring out networking issues, please include both the GM and player logs; as all networking is between both computers.

From just looking at the player logs, it looks like something is closing the connection between the GM and player machines:
[4/25/2021 11:41:19 AM] Noble Connect [394905]: Socket receive operation was interrupted, likely due to the socket being closed

This is almost always caused by security software on the player's machine blocking network access; though it can sometimes be caused by network router security settings or Internet provider "advanced security" options. Please make sure that C:\Program Files\SmiteWorks\Fantasy Grounds\FantasyGrounds.exe is specifically added to your firewall software (Windows firewall, as well as any third party software such as McAfee, Norton, Avast, AVG, etc.)
