Assigning Character to a Starship

How do I assign a starship to a character

Add a ship to the party sheet. add the characters to the party sheet. Then drop the player portrait to the slot on the sheet tab. It is a small area that will accept the drop in the center. Then you can change the role from each character from the character sheet.

Define "didn't work". When you attempted it, what did happen?

This works. It's worth noting that the Fantasy Ground FAQ (Atlassian) shows an out of date view, and this doesn't reflect what todo anymore.
