Options Menu: For the FGU Interface and even classic core RPG's, would it be hard or difficult to rename and add some more understandable verbiage in the default menu items>? This affects new users mostly..

Example graphic attached.

The labels itself are just string values, which should normally be easily changable.
The top right corner question mark in the optinos menu links to the wiki entry for the options which has a description and explanation for most options. Still voted.

I’d go even further and scrap both options and just have them both on. Does anyone not show inventory to players? If so why? And the dice tower too should default to on. I’ve always been curious as to why these were ever optional.

My players actually do not want that their inventory can be shown to others (in case they plan something and have some stuff related to that) :)

Except me as DM there are no hidden rolls so far; so, when one does not need the dice tower as in my case then one can save some space on the sceen :)

(so, yes, I precisely have those settings which you do not consider as default ;) )

I need to have a little talk with your players :)

Isn't the only way for a player to secret chat the DM is by right clicking the Dice Tower? Seems weird to have the feature hidden by default.

Players can \w GM <message> to the DM.

I prefer to never use the Dice Tower. So far none of my players have requested hiding anything in Inventory but I like it!

I can see hidden inventory in games, like the Alien RPG I just played in for FG Con and Cthulu one's I've played in the past.

In a cooperative hack and slash no need, but in other genres, certainly :)

I find the Dice tower useful for things like active stealth, investigation, perception and insight checks. So you don't get things like "Oh I just rolled a 1 on my perception check - I'm sure nothing is here but maybe someone should take another look..."

Like shown in OotS here: https://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0003.html

I do favor passive checks but sometimes my players do want to make active checks.
