What am I missing?

Is there a way to make custom map tiles? My searches come up with nothing. I want to make some underdark style mushroom forrest like tiles. Or buy a tile pack that has such. I have searched 'how to make tiles fantasy grounds' and all I get are how to make maps with tiles. I must be missing something obvious...

Tiles are images that have been prebuilt. They are designed to be able to be connected to each other to form a seamless bigger image.
FGs map making will work with Tiles but I dont think you can use it to create tiles.

I was looking for external ways to make tiles to use with FG.

You'd need to create them in a graphics package like Photoshop or possibly some of the dungeon mapping tools like Dungeoncraft

Oh, dungeondraft I think. There's a couple of others as well that I've heard mentioned here but I can't remember their names.
