The map suffix (when used) should add a space between the numbers and the suffix.

I think in this case, it's working as expected. I would think that some people prefer to see 30m vs. "30 m"; but I could be wrong and this one seems very subjective.

Also, I think that you can workaround pretty easily by making your suffix into " miles".

Moon's got a good point. When using distance abbreviations I wouldn't want there to be a forced space there.

OK - the gif does show me putting a space before miles exactly as Moon Wizard said. Not a problem, how often do I need to change the suffix after all.
