Players' Shadow Dice

I find it odd that the dice are black shadows in the dice roller for the players, yet the text window states what the dice rolls are. Do I have something set incorrectly?

This image quickly captures a die roll and yet it shows the result of an 11 on the die roll in the text but the dice are shadowed as though supposed to be hidden. Those shadow dice are not as sneaky as they think and they failed their saving throw.

I would think there is some connection between the text of the roll and the visual of the dice. I can't figure out why the dice would be shadows and yet it then gives the text of the roll in chat. And what if I want the players to see the dice rolls, why are the dice shadows? I would think there would be some connection between the text and the dice image and if one is hidden the other should too, and vice-versa, but not split like I am seeing. I must be missing something. Thanks!

Thats what they do. The GM dice roll as shadows. You can either display the result or not but the dice are shadows.
