I am trying to set up a new Power Group ion my 5E character sheet for my monk's Ki powers. I can't figure out how to make a new one and the instructions from Smiteworks are either way out of date or just wrong.

On this page here at fantasygrounds.com (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/wiki/index.php/5E_Character_Sheet#Powers), the directions clearly say:

To set up a new power group click on the edit list button at the bottom right hand side of the tab and select 'Add Power', or if there are already powers right click and select 'Create Item'

And yet... clicking on that icon only toggles between the normal "edit mode" and "end editing mode". When I right-click on it, the radial menu only gives options for Minimize, Export, Rest, and Close. So I try clicking on the blue star next to it, which says "Powers" in the flyover tip. Sounds promising! And when I click it, it does in fact add a new group. But the group has no editable properties. You can add things to it and remove things from it, but there is no magnifying glass to edit the name or other group properties as there is with other groups, which can have things like "Uses" or others.

So, on the "edit list" button, despite what the instructions say, there is no "add power" option on the "edit list" button.

My guess is that these are old instructions that badly need to be carefully gone through and updated to reflect Unity. In the meantime, can anyone tell me how to add a group for Ki Powers that tracks my Ki points and where I can put in those actions?

Thanks!

With the recent change to iedit buttons, the buttons are now always visible. Just click on the add weapon or add power button to the left of the iedit button.

Thanks. I did try those, and you can create powers, yes - I have no trouble just adding and removing static items. But I want a power GROUP, a container in which I can put other powers and the gets tracked like spell slots get tracked, with a configurable number of uses, dots to check off, etc. I know third is possible because I've seen it done. I just can;'t figure out how to manually add a new one. And of course FG does it automatically every time a spell caster gets a new spell level.

Just type in a name in the Group field of the power when using the "Group" display option. Once you press Enter or leave the text field, if that group name doesn't exist, it will create a new group with that name.

Note, that is the wiki for FGC. ForFGU you should be using the one linked from the Help pulldown above; https://fantasygroundsunity.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FGCP/pages/996639165/Fantasy+Grounds+Unity+User+Manual
