I'm playing fantasy grounds on a laptop, and there's not enough real estate space for all the open windows I need. So I'm trying to cast to a chromcast connected to my tv through the chrome browser. However it only allows me to mirror my desktop, I want to be able to extend my desktop but i'm not sure how to do that. Does anyone have any ideas?

Chromecast does a mirror. i dont think Chroecast can be used to extend your display.

Welcome to the FG forums.

This is really a Chromecast question, not a FG question. Doing a search of the Internet for "chromecast extend desktop" gives a lot of hits. Here's one that might be useful: https://www.alphr.com/extend-desktop-chromecast

My experience with Chromecast is that you can either mirror your display, or cast an application that is Chrome Cast supported, like Google Chrome browser, Netflix, Disney +, etc. FG (and most programs) are not Chromecast enabled so you won't be able to cast a second instance of FG.
