FOW darkness levels are not the same on mirrored 2nd screen.

While testing the lighting/vision I decided to airplay my Macbook Pro to my AppleTV. The resulting mirrored image on my television screen was noticeably better than the image displayed on my Macbook's built-in screen. FOW on the Macbook screen was too dark to see from black unexplored areas. On my TV screen FOW was easily discernible from black unexplored areas.

Maybe the TV screen does better blacks or has a brighter screen or different contrast levels?

The TV screen might use an output range of 16-235 or just use a different gamma, usually to make all those dark movies more discernible. That being said, yes FoW is too dark (for players) in the current beta, next version is said to improve on that.

I plan to calibrate the Macbooks screen tonight and see if that improves the darkness levels.
