I need some help with line of sight points attached to different layers of an image record.
Line of sight image points (walls , terrain, doors, windows, etc ) drawn on the same layer interact. Creating additional points whenever they overlap. *I can see some benefit to this when you want to bisect or trim and clean up shapes or make holes for say a doorway. Though I would be in favor of a toggle for this behavior. *Many times it's easier for me to draw a shape then move it into place.

When drawing line of sight points on separate layers my expectation would be that they would not interact creating additional points if they overlap. Especially if they only overlap for a moment while I'm positioning images. *Here is an image example where I move an image layer so it overlaps another layers LOS points. I click off it then select it again and move it to another position not overlapping another layers LOS points.
Both layers result in have additional points where they momentarily overlapped.

Is there anyway of keeping layers line of sight paths from interacting and creating unwanted additional points?
Bonus question, Is there anyway to snap line of sight points to the grid layer?
Thanks for the help.*

It would seem not. I don't know if this is intended or not.

There isn't a snap to grid for the LoS. This would be pretty redundant unless your walls all lined up wiith the grid which 99% of the time they don't - as you can see in the image you posted for example.

This is by design, as the additional points are needed for the LoS calculations to be correct when playing. If you are going to be drawing a shape and dragging into position, you'll need to avoid other LoS blocker lines to avoid additional point creation.
