Starship Combat Glitching damage Modifiers

Is the Starship combat interface supposed to take into account modifiers from glitching systems? I had a ship with a glitching aft weapon but when the weapon was used the -2 modifier was never applied to the attack results.

The ship combat should take into account the g,m,w mods. I will have a look.
