For the sake of completeness: 4.1 beta seems to not be able to load images larger than around 500 megapixels, just like 4.0.5. Older 4.0 versions could load larger images than that.

Even the big Faerun world map is "only" about 41 megapixel. 500 megapixel is 22300px * 22300px, what are you going to do with that and is it really practicable in FGU? Upload time and navigation must be horrible...

For the sake of completeness...

...plus one other user does use such large sized images in practice and I tested his error report in both live and beta test. This is the beta test forum, so here is the corresponding feedback on that.

Personally I only print at these sizes (for table play), while all my FG maps come with bought adventure path products (from the SW store). It can help to load such large files for analysis of performance issues, though.

And it is still a regression compared to older versions, which in turn might points to other problems connected to this.
