In R18 there is an (absolutely fantastic) added functionality where you can apply the effects of a spell based on the saving throw results of the targets.

Is there a plan to be able to apply damage in the same way? This would allow automation for spells such as wail of the banshee, or other spells that have damage that varies based on a save but not strictly half on success/double on crit fail, as well as making it faster to apply the results of spells that both deal damage and apply effects - you could do everything with a single click.

For that matter, it would also be useful in some cases on healing or temp HP - soothe could heal and apply the Will bonus effect with a single click, while a "spell" for barbarian rage could apply the temp HP and the damage bonus with a single click.

Damage will always be a separate step to applying effects.

You can use the SAVEDAMAGEPER (Save Damage Percent) effect to control the amount of damage. For Wail of the Banshee you'd still set it as a basic save (to cover everything but the success), and apply SAVEDAMAGEPER: 100 success to all targets before triggering the save.

See the recently released Part 4 - Save Effects video for more information on SAVEDAMAGEPER.
