Locking Object on Maps

When I make, say a cabin and have the walls, doors. windows and floor set where I want. Is there any way to lock them all at once or do I have to click the lock button each time for the 25 items I just placed?

Place the layers in a group (folder) and you can lock/unlock them all at once by locking the group
