Guts Injuries?

If you roll Guts on the injury table, is there any way to apply it to your character or do you just have to take a note and account for it manually in every roll until its healed? Do you also need to manually update your toughness?

Add an effect to the PC/NPC in CT:

[Agility -1d] or [Vigor -1d, Toughness -1] or [Strength -1d]

The injury table actually outputs the effect into the chat window so you can just drag and drop the effect line onto the combat tracker and it should work
