Question about word parsing for 5e

I occasionally run into issues with how FG parses wording. For example in backgrounds if I say "Choose two from" followed by a list of skills FG does not parse it correctly until I change it to "Choose two from among"

Are these wordings a standard from WoTC or FG? And, are these documented somewhere?

It's all hardcoded in the rulesets I believe. You'll have to unzip those files and search for keywords to find where.
