View Full Version : UI Has Disappeared

I have no idea what's wrong with FG. I used it last week with no issues. Nothing has changed since then, no updates were run, nothing has been downloaded. I launch the program, and instead of my usual window all I get is blue background and some text. I've attached an image of what it looks like when I open it.

Welcome to FG.

Something is preventing FGU from accessing files that it needs or one (or more) of your files is corrupted in some way. First thing to try is to delete the CoreRPG.pak and 5e.pak rulesets and the do an update. If that doesn't fix the issue then make sure that you have a fresh rule (delete any old ones) in your antivirus for FG, making sure at the same time that your AV hhasn't already quarantined FG.

Thanks for your help, but nothing is working. I've gone so far as to uninstall, delete all the files, and reinstall, and I'm still having the same errors. System settings haven't changed, I can't find any explanation for the problem.

And you are sure that you have a fresh rule in your antivirus?

Yes. I went in and deleted the existing one, then created a new one when I reinstalled.

Then I'm at a loss. The only other thing that occurs to me is possibly permissions issues with the data folder, but that should get sorted on installation.

You might want to post your log files here for the devs to look at. Start a campaign and when you get the error message click on compile logs and attach them here.

This solved it! Thank you so much. I guess a system update wiped it out or something.
