I was wondering if anyone has had this happen to them. I have been running 5E and Starfinder in FGU for a while now. I normally run it as a LAN game. When my group last played, 1/31/21, no one was able to connect to the game via LAN. At first we thought that maybe it had to do with us having added a Circle device to our network to help moderate the kids use of the internet. We shut the device off though and still no one could connect to the LAN game. I switched over to my personal network that I use for work, that didn't have the Circle attached to it. Still, no one could connect to the LAN. We checked the IP address on both networks to make sure we had the right ones, that was fine. We finally agreed to us the Cloud and it worked just fine. I'd really prefer to run my game via LAN. Is there any known issue with FGU and LAN connections since the most recent upgrades?

Any help would be appreciated - Robin

LAN requires you to all be in the same LAN or to configure UDP1802 port forwarding.

We do have 1802 set for the external folks. We have done LAN with FGU before this. For some reason it has completely stopped working. Didn't know if maybe some update was the culprit or not.

Thanks for making sure we remembered the settings.

Nothing on FGU changed. I ran a LAN game Wednesday with both internal and external clients without any issue.

I had my ISP do an update and it caused none of my player's to be able to connect. I ended up having to delete my port forward settings and set them up again. Haven't had any more issues since.

Also check that your internal IP didn't change
