Hi,

1. Question: My players have the first ship and found out that the "Gunner" position always uses the "base attack bonus + dex mod" instead of the (potential) higher "Piloting" value. Is there a way to switch the used stats for the players so that they can use the higher stat "at will"?

2. Question: One of my players has a base attack bonus of 0 + 3 dexterity - but the "Gunner" position is calculated with a +4 bonus instead +3 - any ideas, why the bonus is to high?

Thanks for your ideas and hints! :)

Thread can be "closed" (so to say). I found the "fault". It was, again, just me.

The exact wording according to the manual (page 320) is: "1d20 + the gunner's base attack bonus or the gunner's ranks in the Piloting skill"
The Keyword here is "ranks", not "total" - i somehow interpreted it until now as "total piloting" and that's wrong.
The "rank" also explains my 2nd question - my player has +3 dexterity and 1 rank in piloting - adding up to a total of 4!

YW ;). I hate it, when someone opens a thread with a problem and (if at all) only states "resvoled" without explaining the solution! :)
