View Full Version : Character Creator Issue with Spells

I've been trying to enter in custom classes with spells and when I test the character creator in FGU I keep getting this error that pops up in the error log. I am wondering what it means and if anyone has any suggestions on how to deal with it (this is assuming that I am providing enough information to diagnose the problem, which I recognize I might not be).43130

5e ruleset? Guessing so, but always nice to confirm.

Just to cover the basics, do you have any extensions loaded?

If so, can you turn them off and try without them?

Yes, not enough information. How have you created your custom spell list (if indeed you have created one).

The error is suggesting that the wizard can't find the spell list - hence why I was asking. So if you haven't created one where are you linking the spell list from? Or have you not got a link to a spell list at all?

I do not have a link to a spell list for any classes. I entered all my spells in manually from my PHB. I have no idea how to create a class spell list that I can make or use a link for in FGU.

Well I don''t exactly know how the Wizard works but I imagine that if you have a class with the Spellcasting ability then it will look for the list of spells for that class. If there is no such list then it will throw an error.
