We are going back and revisiting the Season 1 Metaplot for anyone that may have missed some of the Scoured Star segments. The segments can be played and spread out over multiple characters you play or even through playing a pre-gen. I've detailed out the boon below for anyone that would like to know why the segments are so sought after :-)

The Eight Segments are in:

SFS 1-05 Tier 1-4 The First Mandate
SFS 1-11 Tier 3-6 In Pursuit of the Scoured Past
SFS 1-13 Tier 3-6 On the Trail of History
SFS 1-17 Tier 5-8 Reclaiming the Time-Lost Tear
SFS 1-29 Tier 7-10 Honorbound Emissaries
SFS 1-31 Tier 3-6 Treading History's Folly
SFS 1-34 Tier 3-6 Heart of the Foe
SFS 1-39 Tier 7-10 The Herald's War

YEAR OF THE SCOURED STARS BOON:
Whether through your direct accomplishments or the actions of allied Starfinders, you’ve made serious headway against or completely triumphed over the threat of the Scoured Stars. The Society remembers the deeds of the noble Starfinders who battled against the jinsul threat and the discovered the mysteries of the Scoured Stars, and many other Starfinders benefit from the actions of these brave veteran agents.

Prerequisites: All Factions Tier 3; at least four of the Journey to the Scoured Stars segment boons

Cost: 8 Fame (24 on subsequent purchases)

Benefit: When you select this boon for a character, pick one of the following to apply to your character immediately:
• You gain 1 extra Resolve Point. If you’ve collected all eight segments, then this increases to 2 Resolve Points.
• You gain 1 extra Hit Point for every character level you have. If you have collected all eight segments, then this increases to 2 Hit Points for every level you have.
• You can select a single saving throw (Fortitude, Reflex, or Will) and increase your bonus to that save by 1. If you have collected six or seven segments, then you can select one of the remaining two saves to increase, and if you’ve collected all eight segments, then you instead increase all your saves by 1.
• If you’ve collected all eight segments, then you can increase one of your ability scores that is currently 16 or lower by 2.

Special: When you first apply this boon to a character, it costs 8 Fame. You can apply this boon only once to a given character. Subsequent purchases of this boon for different characters cost 24 Fame.

SFS #1-34: Heart of the Foe SUN January 24 @ 7 PM UTC

It looks like 3 of the slots are already filled. Ideally, I would like at least 1-3 more players.

Tier 3-6, the subtier will depend on the players. Make sure to decide on a reasonable subtier.

Please schedule around 4 1/2 hours for the game.

About the scenario:

A Starfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 3-6.

As the malicious jinsuls continue their conquest of the Scoured Stars system after chasing out the Starfinder Society, the Society's leaders have banded together to learn more of their new rivals. Before attacking the Scoured Stars, the jinsuls had adopted a new homeworld out in the Vast. The PCs join an expedition to this largely abandoned and hazardous planet in hopes of uncovering the origins of the jinsul menace.

Content in Heart of the Foe follows-up on the events of Starfinder Society #1-99: The Scoured Stars Invasion, though playing the previous scenario is not required. Content in this scenario also contributes to the ongoing goals of the Second Seekers (Jadnura) faction, Second Seeker (Luwazi Elsebo) faction and to the ongoing year of the Scoured Stars storyline.

Technical details:

We will use Fantasy Grounds UNITY (I have an Ultimate license) and Teamspeak.

Steps before the game:

Since the game calendar appears to be broken, please reply here stating which character you'd like to play.

If you apply, make sure you send me your previous chronicle sheet of the character you want to apply this chronicle to (if you already have any chronicle sheet). If it is your first SFS game, I'll at least need your Paizo Organized Play # and your faction.

If you haven't already, also make sure to either build the character on FG yourself (and send it to me) or log in early enough so you can do so on game day.

Make sure you have updated Fantasy Grounds.

FG Information and Teamspeak server can be found under GM announcements in the game calendar.

Other notes:

Also make sure to track your purchases on the Inventory Tracking Sheet.

Be sure to apply on time (if you can make it) as the last games were rather full.

In your own interest, make sure the party is somewhat balanced level-wise.

Some boilerplate clarifications:

Please apply on the FG forums on both the game calendar as well as in the game thread (if multiple household members are playing, one person per household is sufficient). First, it's easier to tell how many spots are already filled that way. Second, the other players (as well as the GM) know what level and class to expect from your character (if you don't know yet, simply state TBD). Third, you'll get notified about any updates if you post in the game thread (at least about the first one). Fourth, it allows the GM to determine who applied first should it become relevant. Some exceptions might apply.

Also, please be sure to check the thread for new messages occasionally. You don't have to check each and every day or every few hours but please make sure to reply to any posts that do concern you in time. Should you remain unresponsive, I'll give the spot to a player that applied after you (as I won't know whether you are still interested in participating or not). Exceptions might apply, e.g. if you state beforehand that you won't be able to respond due to traveling.

If you apply but don't show up or drop out during the game without notice, in future games I might also give preference to other players who have a better track record of showing up. I am aware though that life and technical problems can always happen, so don't worry if you have a valid reason though.

These rules are not in place to prevent players from playing but in fact to enable players willing to play to actually do so. It's frustrating if I have to turn down players if it turns out they would in fact have been able to play.
