I am attempting to restrict party vision by using the token option Party vision and movement: Off but it seems to only partially work. In the screenshot below, I am using a player client for the left token and the right one is just another PC token, not connected. Both are dropped onto the map from the CT. You can see that my player client can see the other PC token and its LOS. However, if I select either token, the LOS is restricted as expected. Is it perhaps something wrong in the order of operations or does the other PC have to be connected to be considered an owner?

If you want to see the player view you need to connect as a player

As I mentioned, the token on the left is connected as a player. This screenshot is from that client's view.

So what's wrong with the token on the left? It sees the room it is in, it doesn't see through the walls? What am I missing?

Re-reading, I think I understand. Did you have party vision set to On when you added the tokens to the map? Pretty sure FG will not update and remove what has already been revealed. Make sure you set the option, then add the tokens to a map. Or right click and reset/clear LOS. Don't remember exactly what the command is called.

I did originally, yes. I have tried it again by setting the option to off and deleting all tokens, then turning LOS off and on again from the toolbox. I re-added the two PC tokens, and the PC client can still see the vision of the other token, even though they do not own it.

Here's another example. In this screenshot, I am using the PC client, and I have selected my own token. As expected, I cannot see the vision of the other PC token. This is what I expect to see even when my token is not selected, so I was raising this question as a result of that expectation. Maybe I'm just wrong?

Extensions? Can you reproduce on a new map? In a new campaign? Might be a bug, but I haven't been able to reproduce.
edit: your expectation is right.

Thanks, nailed it. The issue presents itself when I have only the Height extension (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?51005-Extension-Height-label) enabled. I had not updated this to the new FGU version when I moved over from FGC! :square:
With the latest version from that thread, it is working as expected. Sorry for the fuss!

Just adding that FGU does, in fact, update the "Party vision" toggle option in real-time. I played with it some more and there was no need to reset LOS or tokens; I can toggle the option and it is reflected on the PC client immediately, removing fog of war where appropriate.
