Hello,

Is it expected behavior that the Windows 10 Control Panel's "Uninstall or Change a Program" list shows two instances of Fantasy Grounds installed? One is shown as Fantasy Grounds and the other as Fantasy Grounds Unity.

I have only ever installed Fantasy Grounds Unity on this computer (via Steam). To emphasize: I have never installed Fantasy Grounds Classic on this computer. The computer is a recent purchase.

It may depend on what you bought on Steam. It seems to me to be a bit confusing since Steam doesn't allow you to to directly buy just an Ultimate license - it sells you the standard license and the ultimate upgrade. Also if you upgraded from Classic to Unity then Steam will also install Classic as well. But if you aren't using Classic I assume you can just uninstall it.

No, it's not normal. Actually my FGC doesn't show up as an installed app/Feature in Win 10. Maybe though that is because it was installed before my in place upgrade to Win10?

I don't know how to find the installation path in Win 10. If you can find where Windows think it's installed that might help figure out what's going on.

I see exactly the same in my Apps & Features list. I think this is due to the FGU installation originally just being called "Fantasy Grounds" but towards the end of October that changed to "Fantasy Grounds Unity" - probably around the time that it went from early access to general availability.

This sounds like the most likely scenario to me. Have you tried uninstalling the "Fantasy Grounds" installation? If you have, what happened?

Backup your data!!!!!

Yes it "shouldn't mess with your data, but it's in general good practice.
