Hey all. Planning on making some custom races and classes. How do I create auto prompt menus like selecting sub classes (Divine Domain or Sorcerous origin) or sub races? Also menus for skill selection or feat selection during those items. Also, will the custom options work in the character creation wizard, or does only official content work there?

When posting in generic sub-forums, please remember to include the ruleset you're referring to. Even better, for things like this, post in the sub-forum for that ruleset in question. It saves everyone time and effort.

See this video for classes (assuming you mean 5e of course) https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?37112-New-Class-Creation-Video
And this one for races https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?36611-Video-tutorial-Races
If you follow what is said there then you'll get the correct pop ups. Also they will work with the Character Wizard as well (as far as I know) - provided you stick to the normal wording.

Awesome! Thanks so much! One other question - how does it work with copying abilities from source books? Say I want to create a race that has the Goliath's High Altitude feature. If I copy that over, do I then need to have the Elemental Evil module active in any campaign where that comes up, or will it be saved and fine in the module that I create the custom races in? Same with class features..

I've moved this to the 5e sub forum. In future, if you have questions about 5e specifically, please post in this forum. It saves everyone's time and give you a quicker, more accurate response. Thanks.

So I've been playing around with creating things, and have found some good success and answered my previous questions. One thing remaining, is it possible to script skill selection to not list or otherwise prevent a player from selecting a skill that they are already proficient with?

In classes you can list the skills that they can choose. In Races you don't normally get skills. The Character Wizard won't let you move on if you have duplicate skills but using drag and drop it won't do that automatically. However as noted you can list the skills that are available to a class and just miss out any that you don't want them to see.
