Need Help! Unable to create items/NPCs

New to FG. Have the ultimate version with a few DnD 5e modules installed.
I'm trying to create a few things and I'm unsure how to do it. I'm following the directions on https://www.fantasygrounds.com/wiki/index.php/5E_Item_Sheet and I literally cant seem to get past step one.
When creating items and weapons it states:

To create a new item other than a weapon or armor proceed as follows.
Open the Items sheet and right click and select 'Create Item' or click the 'Edit List' button and then 'Add Item'.
Click on <<new item>> to open up the new item dialog and type in a name for the item.


I click Items tab - I see All items and can sort through them (weapons and armor tabs on top left). I'm right clicking all over the window and can't see a "Create Item" option. Only option is to minimize window.
Same with creating weapons and NPC. The wiki says open sheet and right click, but right clicking only brings up 'minimize'.

Can someone help what I'm missing?

Welcome to FG.

Either right click on the main window and select create item or click the little brown thingie at the bottom right. See the attached.

I can't tell if my replies are showing on the thread:confused: Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately there is no additional tab on the bottom right next to "ALL" button like yours shows.

Don't click the buttons in the top of the Items campaign data list. Just right-click within the first Items window that appears when you click the Items button in the right-hand desktop sidebar.

That's what I'm doing :/ right clicking in the first item window. Zacchaeus mentioned a tab on the bottom right. But i do not have one. 42355

That looks like a player view, not the GM. If that is the GM view, what extensions (including themes) do you have loaded?

Some feedback:
1) Players can't add records to the base campaign database. If that screenshot is the player view, then that's the reason why.
2) (Not related to your issue). You have way too many modules loaded that provide the same data - don't load the Basic Rules or SRD data if you're loading the PHB and DMG.

Thank you that was it. I was in Create Character mode, not in a campaign (though I think it's weird I can't make custom items in "Create Character"). Switching modes brought the "Create Item" option, Thank you!

You can, you create them directly in the character inventory. Manage Characters doesn't have a campaign database where you can add items, etc. outside of a character sheet. If you want to do that you need to load a campaign.
