Character screen freeze

I recently installed FGII. When I log in to the server, I can't get past the character screen.
I see the chat, and they see I'm on, but I can't do anything.
I am running v2.0.11.lite
Video Card GeForce 6100
256 MB memory
version 81.33

Out of interest have your tried the maximize/restore "fix" at all?

Sometimes (usually when you switch to another program) FGII seems to freeze, if you maximise the screen then all if fine and then you can select the restore option (inside FGII using right mouse button) to reset FGII back to the size you want.
