View Full Version : [Unity] Grid Visibility affecting burst templates

So I was trying to get rid of the grid lines but keep the grid in the background for scaling. The pointer will keep the scale with the grid visibility off but the Cone and all the burst templates lose their scale when you turn off the grid visibility.

Can anyone else confirm this?

Keep the grid on but drop the opacity down to hide it :)

Another "hack" I have found that really works (now hexes are fixed in SWADE ruleset), is turn on hexes, drop opacity and disable snap to grid, this will be the closet you can get to "proper" SWADE combat.

I can confirm this. I played in one of Doswelk's Savage Saturdays with the setup he mentioned and have run one on my Savage Friday. From this point forward it is my preferred method. Players weren't counting grid squares and were just setting up combat and movement. The maps aren't cut up, they just flow. Beautiful!

Is this still an issue? I tried to reproduce this but everything seems to be working. I wonder if FGU was update to manage this

It appears to be working now. They must have fixed it.
