View Full Version : Is this Unity Version?

OK, so I know it will seem like I'm pc challenged or something and I would like to think not, but I linked the license for the Unity version that I backed a long time ago on Kickstarter but I'm not sure if that is even what is installed. How do I quickly tell if I'm using the new Unity Version? When I launch the game the FG CD Key only says "Fantasy Grounds - Ultimate Upgrade". And it all still looks like the old version?

Your version will show in the upper right corner of the screen on the launcher.

3.x is FGC

4.x is FGU

Hmmm, then I am a clueless PC user (again didn't think I was). I have the key from early backing on Kickstarter, put it into Steam, it says "Product Already Owned" ..."Click next to proceed to installation" but there is no "next" just Back and Finish. So I look through my library and only see one entry for Fantasy Grounds, fire it up and its the 3.X version. How do I DL Unity version instead?

Here are instructions on how to install (Steam included) (https://fantasygroundsunity.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FGCP/pages/996639303/Installing+Fantasy+Grounds+Unity). I did not use Steam, so if the instructions here do not work, I cannot be much help.



You don't have to install from Steam to get FGU to work.

Download FGU (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/home/FantasyGroundsUnity.php) from the web site. Install and enter your key.

If you want to add it to Steam afterwards, you can, there is a way to do that. I do not use Steam for FG, so I don't know the specific details.
