You are making a decision on incomplete information. Reading the relevant forum posts will not tell you what happened; nor why Dulux was demoted as a moderator. It was his decision to leave the community. It was not something that was forced upon him.

Dulux-Oz was a cool bean and did a lot for the community. I don't know the details of why he quit or anything else about the situation other than those forum posts, but I am sure he would be welcome back.

I don't think a new user with 1 single post can come onto the Fantasy Grounds forums demanding what Smiteworks do with another user, especially since you apparently never heard of Dulux until you found his extensions are gone. Sounds a bit dodgy to me.
