DMG in Ability Scores

What is the role of dmg in the Ability Scores?

It allows ability damage to be applied - affecting the resulting ability bonus. This is left over from the PF1 ruleset. PF2 pretty much doesn't have ability damage like PF1 had - PF2 basically replaces these with conditions such as enfeebled, clumsy, etc.. But I didn't want to spend time removing code that may have a use for some games, or maybe an NPC ability/spell released in the future.
