New Line of Sight tools

So, I've just noticed that there are a couple of new line of sight tools, Windows, Illusory Walls and Pits. I checked the help pages but I couldn't find any information on how they work. Is there somewhere I can find out? Or can someone here tell me how they function differently to the other line of sight tools?
