Hey everyone. I am able to create some decent maps for 5E using the tile sets bought off here. But I noticed Starfinder is lacking. Does anyone know of a good tile set (or a few) for creating starfinder maps? The maps look a bit odd with futuristic corridors and then stone buildings! I saw WyldFurr in the posts but honestly know nothing about gimp or any other software to create maps outside of FGU. Didn't really see anything in the maps thread, but maybe I missed it?

I know Campaign Cartographer (www.profantasy.com) has sci-fi assets, including their Cosmographer add-on. And once you install, the assets are just image files so you can use them outside of CC3+, but it might be an expensive way to go.

CC3+ is half off right now though. $22.45

Good places to look for assets are Cartography Assets (https://cartographyassets.com/) and the D&D Compendium (https://www.dnd-compendium.com/dm-resources/maps-map-tools).

Thanks everyone. I ended up checking out ProFantasy like @LordEntrails and @talon00 suggested, mostly due to half off. Ended up picking up their software. It'll be interesting to see how it turns out. Thanks for the link to the other places as well @humby.

Biggest thing to remember for CC is that it is based on a CAD program and not a graphics editing program, so it has a different workflow. Do the practice tutorials, they are extremely helpful. You can see my thread here of me doing and posting some of them; https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?38853-Lord-Entrail-s-Maps

Nice! I'll check it out after work. Yup, being a bad employee right now surfing Fantasy Grounds. :ninja: I definitely need to run through the tutorials. I ended up with the Master Mapper pack and have a TON of stuff to learn. This also means I'm going to re-create most of my maps and then run more games for 5E and Starfinder. It'll be a busy 2021! But quick glance at your maps, LordEntrails, and I like what I see!

Glad to hear it:) CC has a great user community, pretty much like this one. It also has a good Facebook group too if you like that.

Take a look at the Tome of Ultimate Mapping also, they have a lot of good tips and tricks for using CC3

I actually picked this up with it and will be going through it this weekend! Kind of excited to check it out. Thanks for the tip, Nylanfs!
