Is there some kind of delay for the license numbers after they are purchased? I have the new license number from the email but when I try to put it in the "settings" or "activate license" box for it, it does not save it in there and it does not work. Any assistance please.

Kingfisher53c just so we are on the same page. You bought a Unity license and are launching Unity and then clicking settings and putting you license key in there right? If you are trying to put it in Steam it could take a few weeks for that to sync.

One other question. Do you have your User name and password in it that is tied to the account that bought the license key also?

Sorry it was for the Fantasy Grounds Unity - Ultimate License. I had an account several months ago and was running a campaign with my family. I let it lapse and then recently purchased the ultimate license. It gave me a different license code when this happened and when I try to put it in there it doesn't work.

And yes I have the user name and password. I used them to purchase the license.

I would send an email to [email protected]. They should be able to fix it for you.

I'm having a similar sounding issue, purchased the FGU Ultimate license on Steam (after using FGC Ultimate for a year), when I enter it into the freshly installed FGU settings it refuses to save the license. The field clears out as soon as I paste the key in, it will display alternately "valid Ultimate license" and "License Key is not Active", but doesn't save the field at any point.

Have already emailed support but haven't gotten anything more than "are you using the right FG client and latest version" as a response and then radio silence for almost a week.

Have you also made sure your Steam and forum account are syncing?

Thanks. I am also trying something suggested from the Discord server: fresh install from the webinstaller instead of Steam installer and hosting a campaign regardless of the error messages in the settings, others have said they also have errors displayed but it works fine for them. (Note: if anyone finds this thread later, that did not work for my case. Awaiting support's response after attempting their Windows group and firewall suggestions which were already set as suggested)
