How do you add persistent critical damage on a spell like Acid Arrow?

MOD: moved to PF2 form so those who know the ruleset best can reply.

I don't think the Persistent damage changes with a crit for Acid Arrow. Spell says double initial damage, but not Persistent damage.

Darkfire is right, at least the way *I* apply the rules (there is some debate about persistent damage out there). There are some exceptions, but they list the critical effect within the spell/item itself, otherwise PERS is the same for both a regular hit and a critical.

Can you add it to the spell damage so it's automatic?

Add it as a PERS effect action.

From my Drag n Drop, here's an example of what Acid Arrow should look like:

I think the they wanted the PERS to be added automatically when the Crit happens? (which might be cool)

Joking follows......

(I for one wont be happy until I can open Fantasy Grounds and be able to select a button from "Play Pathfinder 2e", "Play Pathfinder 1e", "Play D&D 5e","Play D&D 3.5","Play Savage Worlds","Play Conan d20","Play Rolemaster". THen go off and binge watch some tv.)

(P.S What do you mean I have to MANUALLY select the ruleset! SHEEZZZZZ)
