Hi :)

As in the title: The mask does not work for the new fx "Time of Day" :) But maybe that is on purpose because for most maps that Fx will apply for the whole map? (an exception might be a map of a whole planet, but edge case :D)

Best,

Kelrugem :)

PS: I really like the Fx system :D

Thanks for reporting. Sometimes I forget things. I'll get that fixed and double-check the existing FX to make sure the masks are all working.

A comment on the FX. On two Windows computers (one desktop with 1660 gpu, other i5 surface) the FX animation stops for a half second then continues then stops and continues. As if its a loop. Tested on about 5 different FX animations with same result.

Thanks for the report. The time updates for the animations are pushed to the GPU through Unity's main thread, which can stall. Most of the FX shaders have been moved from explicitly passing in the update to relying on Unity's intrinsic time functions. I may want to revert that change.

May I just say that, bugs notwithstanding, TIME OF DAY IS AWESOME. I've been hoping for this for a long time, and the implementation is great.

Masked, layered FX and time-of-day together make it possible to generate interesting, animated, customisable maps and illustrations in minutes.

They're a big step forward in prettiness for FGU, thank you.

Cheers, Hywel
