View Full Version : Saving campaign windows between sessions?

It's been a while since I've used FG and I've recently upgraded to FGU. In my previous campaign, I swear that it would save minimized windows.

I just spent a few hours in preparation for Session 1 of a new campaign and all my minimized windows (NPC's, Story Hooks, Maps) are gone. If I hunt them down and re-open them, the changes are still there, but that's not what I'm getting at.

I typed /save, minimized via right click, re-opened, and nothing is saving.

Am I making up a feature that never existed? This is a real pain - any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

What you're looking for is not default behavior in FGC or FGU. Maybe you were using an extension in FGC? I think there was an extension called something like "Window Saver X" I never used it, but maybe it had this functionality?

Yeah, that's correct. The Window Saver X extension will allow you to save window positions and load them up. You can have several saves and load the one you want to use at a given time.

Awesome, thank you! I just may have done that and don't remember! As I said, it's been a while. I searched for answers first and noticed people were mentioning extensions, but the search results were quite old (2007 in some cases). Thanks again!
