I had some tokens for PC's and NPC's located in .mod files (legacy from Classic). I decided to move them to the Token folder and reload them from the Assets folder to the record that needed replacement.

On Host side all went well but when tested on client none of the newly linked token images would show up. Not tokens on the map or token image on player sheet. I removed all tokens from map and CT then added them back but that did not resolve the issue.

Zacchaeur recommended I run the command /flushdb on Host and delete the campaign from the Cashe folder on the Client.

After doing this even less images are being sent to Client including images used as layers on a map.

On some images I tried removing the share and sharing again but the image still will not go to the Clinet.

I have removed all extensions but same issue. Ruleset is 4e. Unity build 10/30

Currently the game now is unplayable. Hopefully there is a solution to this issue. Willing to invite to a game or send the campaign (its a huge file).

I am having the exact same problem tonight after the latest patch. Clients are not able to receive any new tokens I put on the map. They could see previous ones that are probably locally cached but nothing that is new on the map is being seen. Very odd and nothing seems to be fixing it so far. Have unloaded all extensions and it behaves the same.

Since yesterday I can't share ANY image. It also started after the last patch for me, since hours early it was working fine.

I have had the same problem with a custom mapmaking art pack I have been using as of late, the file is rather large(3 Gbs) and none of the files I put are working if they are located in a folder within the image folder.
After some testing I found that any file that has been shared before and was fine remains sharable but new images dont work and additionally images in subfolders within the image folder are broken aswell.

Thanks for all the reports. I've been investigating this one since the morning. It appears that it affects assets not in modules, and located in the images/tokens/portraits data folders.

I've turned on the Prev build for the previous week's build; in case you need an immediate workaround.

I'm also working on a fix; but it's taking longer than I thought it would. Also, some other changes got checked in which increment the network version as well. So, not sure if I should push mid-weekend; or just have people use Prev build until Monday to avoid confusion.

I do not know if this is related or not, but we were having similar issues with images not loading up for us today. We were even seeing issues with them attempting to load a module, it would open up but not show up in the library.
The two players who were not having issues with connecting had Ultimate licenses. including myself as a host, I also have Ultimate. The two who had all sorts of issues with loading images and modules were using the free/demo license. This is the only thing we could see that was constant with the image and module problems.

@kevininrussia,

I just pushed a new build that should fix the issue you were seeing with the local data folder graphics not propagating. If you get a chance, can you do a quick test to make sure it's working for you?

Thanks,

In my first quick tests all seems to be working correctly. I did notice when I shared an image, when the image appeared on the client it was moved in the lower right of the view panel cutting it off. I synced client view and it was centered up. Maybe there needs to be a "sync to client" sent when the image is shared?

My original goal was to move all my images from modules to the Images and Token folders and also make subfolders within the root folders. For example Tokens/Monsters/Elemental. Is this possible now? If yes I will start that process.

Thanks!

Can you walk me through the steps for the "moved in the lower right of the view panel cutting it off"? I think that's related to another issue I need to look at.

1. Host: Open Images & Maps panel
2. Open an image that has not been shared yet.
3. On opened image, right click on the image to open the radial dial. Click on Sharing/Share Record.
4. Image sent to clients is shifted to the lower right of the image panel on the client side. Image on Host is correctly centered.

Addendum: After unsharring the image and then resharring, the image is centered correctly.

It also looks like the image is being drawn out of the bounds of the panel (just a little)

I'm not seeing this in basic tests I'm performing here. I'll keep poking at it.

* Are these images being created just before being shared?
* If so, where are the assets coming from? (<data folder>\images, <campaign folder>\images, ...)
* If not, are these image records part of a module that you built?
* If a module, how was it built originally?
* If a module, how is it stored on disk (as mod file, or as folder)?

Thanks,
JPG

It example above came from Icespire Peak module.

I did a test on new images I put in the "images" folder. They did not exhibit the behavior above. I did notice that when sharing an image the Client opens the image in a panel that is similar to the Host. So if the image is small on the Host the image panel is small on the Client but the image is scaled 1:1, not scaled for the smaller window. Maybe something similar happened to a large image on the Host shared and it was bigger than the Client screen resolution?

Here is example of a small window image share
