I was playing in the last hours and put some effects on an image. I used the new feature to partially mask some effects layers, and it worked properly when the frame was "windowed". However, the mask gone when I used the image in the background (clicking in the up arrow in the upper right corner).

Curious is that it only happen when I went from the normal view (the windowed) to the background. When I went to the foreground image, then back to the background mode, the FX masks back working.

Thanks for reporting. This bug has been identified and should be fixed in the next release.

Yeah, I reported that, too; some possible workaround is to do anything in the background in the image toolbar etc., then it updates and works correctly again :) So, the mask is only "shortly" forgotten :)
