Issue updating FG Unity

I keep on stalling out and freezing on update attempts. I've uninstalled and reinstalled still will not update. Any ideas?

Check your security software for warnings or quarantine on your computer and on your modem/router check things like Flood Protection etc. Also check your ISP for Advanced Security settings.

Many of these security program will lock down after so much info is transferred, so don't uninstall, it will just force you to start downloading again.

And does the FGUpdateEngine log list any errors?

It keeps giving a failed to receive data error then will restart that packet. Then at some point it will just lock up and gives no error message. Usually on a larger file >10 mb.

And what does your security software show? That is an error indicating that something on your end believes the file is a threat and won't allow it to download.

Exact details, like the actual log file, security software, ISP, etc will help us help you resolve the issue quicker than pointing you in general directions.

Can you try and connect your pc to a phone hotspot to see if it can download from there?
