Problem with masking

Hello!
I was making some new maps today when masking suddenly stopped to work. Both masking and LOS works on the provided maps but not on my own. I thought it was something wrong with my images but if I create a map without any images and just paint with pens masking still not works. You can do a work around by using a BG map, hide it, and paint your own map on it but I would like my own images. So why can I mask the provided maps but not any of my own (image or not)?

I'm not seeing that here. Can you provide the steps to recreate the issue in a new campaign?

Some notes in case it's a usage issue:
* Image paint layers using the Paint mode tools will be masked by the mask/LOS tools. (Only available to GM via image control panel when unlocked.)
* Image drawings will not be masked by the mask/LOS tools. (Drawing tool available via image toolbar and right click menu.)
