View Full Version : Stacking the same bonus/effect according to the definition of a power

Hi everyone,

I'm having some trouble with codding some effects of my player's powers.

Here is an exemple, the Daring Charge.

https://iws.mx/dnd/?view=power4940

According to the power description, the effect "+2 bonus to the attack roll and the damage roll for each opportunity attack made against you while you charge." should stack several times. But Fantasy Grounds prevents that from happening.

Any idea of a way to code the effect to allow stacking / an other way to code it to work properly ?

I'd do it with several different buttons.

Either you can do it with the same effect, but a different added explanation after a ";" like this:
ATK: 2; DMG: 2; 1st AoO
ATK: 2; DMG: 2; 2nd AoO
ATK: 2; DMG: 2; 3rd AoO
ATK: 2; DMG: 2; 4th AoO
ATK: 2; DMG: 2; 5th AoO

etc, and click them one after the other to have them stack,

OR

you can do it with one click and one button for how many attacks were made in the end
ATK: 2; DMG: 2; one AoO
ATK: 4; DMG: 4; two AoO
ATK: 6; DMG: 6; three AoO
ATK: 8; DMG: 8; four AoO
ATK: 10; DMG: 10; five AoO

etc, and only click the one that is needed.

I hope I could be of help!

Thanks for the several workarounds here :)

It helped us understand more the way stacking of effects works in Fantasy Grounds !
