I was using the Lost Mine of Phandelver about 2 hours as part of a Session 0 with a party of 6 to familiarize and resolve questions prior to our first session in Rime of the Frostmaiden next week. I was using the Cragmaw Hideout Players Map and only the two Goblins in the first encounter, but we were experiencing some odd behavior and had to cancel.
The Goblin NPCs were moving on their own at random intervals
If I clicked on someone or an NPC to see their view, I would soon lose that selection
The players were frequently losing their views
Players were having difficulties moving their characters with mouse or keyboard.
At one point the console log showed up and then we all exited and I restarted the campaign with the same issues. None of this was happening in the last week with the same map. While it feels like network communication issues, I don't feel qualified to offer any ideas.

I haven't heard of anything like that; and haven't heard of any reports like that from anyone else.
It seems more like some sort of mouse issue from your description; but I'm just guessing.
* Maybe some mouse hardware or driver issues?
* Are you running any other mice/trackpads/drawing tablets on same machine?
* Are you running any utility programs that adjust or modify mouse behaviors?

A couple of additional questions:
- Did you experience this issue with other encounters? Or was this the only encounter in the session?
- Was token locking enabled?

Interesting hypothesis. I'm trying to replicate the problem by myself now and I can't do it. I have a Logitech wireless mouse with it's unifying receiver dongle. That would be it on the hardware side. It's still plugged into the same port as it was earlier
Would the mouse hardware be restricted to the GM / host? Could a player on a demo client possibly be considered?
I'm going to try and attach some more players to isolate that here

This was the only encounter. We started the encounter around 4pm Pacific and quit around 5pm
I hadn't locked tokens.

I think we figured it out after logging some people in and seeing messages. This was completely on my end. We added the Rob2e One-Click Druid extension a earlier this week and the non-Unity version of the extension seemed to be getting loaded with the Unity version. Removing the non-FGU versions of the extension from the extensions folder cleared out most of the issues. There are some still some lingering issues, but I'll follow up with them.
