Druid character

Question i created a Druid to get use to FG (i'm new at it 2days on FG lite) but now my question is if i had an animal companion how do i create it? do i start a new character and make it the animal companion? if so can i play two different sheets at once?

You can now run two characters in FG2 so creating a seperate sheet is one way of doing it - probably the best - as it allows the companion to be placed on the combat tracker which is very helpful to the DM.
